American Psychiatric Association issues apology for structural racism

The American Psychiatric Association has issued a formal apology for its role in “perpetrating structural racism.” Dr.  Monique Swift, president of the New Jersey Chapter of the Association of Black Psychologists, said the apology has come a little too late for the Black community that she said is struggling to find and trust in treatment for mental health. Correspondent Raven Santana reports.
