American Cities Rebuilding: Spotlight on the arts

The live part of the American Cities Rebuilding virtual conference has ended, but NJ Spotlight News will continue to post recordings of its discussions and films in the coming days and weeks. The conference — held Oct. 15-16 and and hosted by WNET, NJTV and NJ Spotlight News — examined how cities in New Jersey and nationwide are faring during the COVID-19 pandemic and at a time of social unrest.

In this fireside chat, former NJTV News Anchor Mary Alice Williams speaks with James King, the managing director of Harlem Stage in New York City, about the state of the arts in this unprecedented time.
