NJ Spotlight News | October 19, 2020 | Social
How can equity in health care be achieved?

The live part of the American Cities Rebuilding virtual conference has ended, but NJ Spotlight News will continue to post recordings of its discussions and films in the coming days and weeks. The conference — held Oct. 15-16 and hosted by WNET, NJ Spotlight News and NJTV — examined how cities in New Jersey and nationwide are faring during the COVID-19 pandemic and at a time of social unrest.

This discussion focused on health care equity and featured Richard Besser, president of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and former acting director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Nicole Alexander-Scott, state health director in Rhode Island. NJ Spotlight News’ Lilo H. Stainton moderated.
