Air travelers ignore advice to stay put as new virus strains emerge

Air travel is increasing just ahead of Christmas. So are COVID-19 infections

Despite an uptick in COVID-19 cases and warnings from state officials, it appears not everyone is calling off holiday gatherings and plans. Airport terminals are bustling — far less than in normal years,  but still at levels health experts say should cause concern, especially with a new strain of the coronavirus waiting in the wings. Correspondent Michael Hill reports.
