Advocates call for more oversight at NJ Transit

Lawsuit accuses Academy of fraud, underreporting the trips it missed and charging for ones that never ran

The state of New Jersey recently filed a lawsuit against Academy Bus and accused the company of defrauding NJ Transit out of $15 million by underreporting the trips it missed and charging for ones that never ran. One result: a chorus of demands for more oversight. Senior Correspondent Brenda Flanagan reports.
