Workplace complaints began flooding into the Department of Labor immediately after Gov. Phil Murphy mandated new coronavirus safety rules for public and private employers. In just weeks, the number spiked to 2,000 reports of alleged workplace health and safety violations. But only a fraction have been investigated and resolved.
