While much of the state has recovered, life has yet to get back to normal three years after superstorm Sandy, say most New Jerseyans, according to the most recent Rutgers-Eagleton poll.

On a scale of 1-10 (1 meaning not at all recovered), respondents gave the Jersey Shore region a 5.8 for recovery and a 7.1 for the state in general. New Jersey businesses and New Jersey tourism are more than halfway there, according to respondents, with ratings of 6.9 and 7.1.

Yet New Jerseyans seem aware that there are still homeowners suffering, as they gave them a 5.3 rating.
