Christie tells Sandy Protester to "Sit Down & Shut Up"

Matt Katz | October 29, 2014

Gov. Chris Christie marked the second anniversary of Sandy with a tour of the Jersey Shore to check in on the rebuilding process of towns affected by the storm.

But in Belmar, after the Republican got a hero's welcome as he and First Lady Mary Pat Christie walked down Main Street -- "Please run for president!" and "Thank you for everything!" -- Christie took the podium to talk to the gathered crowd about storm recovery.
