The Christie administration is quite proud of its record of responding to Hurricane Sandy and quickly rebuilding along the Jersey shore. In keeping with that, they’ve just announced a plan to demolish 3,000 structures across Ocean, Monmouth, and Middlesex counties in order to “pave the way for rebuilding.”

The administration cited such towns as Brick, Toms River, Mantoloking, Tuckerton, Berkeley, Little Egg Harbor, Keansburg, and Union Beach as those that will see demolition activity this summer.
