Treating the economy in the midst of the coronavirus scare

Lawmakers in Washington are discussing ways to give the economy support as the coronavirus continues to spread. One option being discussed is giving workers paid sick leave and emergency unemployment insurance.

Bayer has closed two New Jersey offices in Whippany and Moorestown after an employee in another state may have contracted the virus. Bayer described the closings as a protective measure.

New Jersey’s highest court has ruled workers can not be fired for failing a drug test because they are using medical marijuana.
