Sweeney: Federal stimulus package a bad deal for New Jersey

Congress is poised to pass a $2 trillion coronavirus relief package, pending a House vote on Friday. It includes direct cash payments for some New Jerseyians — up to $2,400 — along with a financial boost to unemployment insurance. But one of New Jersey’s top lawmakers is saying we’re getting short-changed, calling it a “bad deal” for the state. Senior Correspondent David Cruz talks to Senate President Steve Sweeney.
