Rutgers creates COVID-19 center to help coordinate outreach efforts

Multiple institutes and public health programs at Rutgers have mobilized to help combat the coronavirus epidemic through research as well as public health and outreach efforts. To help coordinate their response, the university created the Center for COVID-19 Response and Pandemic Preparedness.

Brian Strom, chancellor of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences and executive vice president for health affairs at the university, spoke to senior correspondent David Cruz about the center.
