Today marks 6 months since New Jersey’s first COVID case, and the anniversary comes on the final weekend before the next school year. Governor Murphy says 607 school plans are complete, but close to 200 still need to be revised or approved.

The state is reporting 478 new positive cases, for a total of more than 193,000 as well as 7 new confirmed deaths, for a cumulative total of nearly 16,000 confirmed and probable deaths. The Rate of Transmission has climbed over 1 again, as more restrictions are lifted today.
