Head of MVC on reopening: ‘I didn’t anticipate drivers’ built up anxiety’

The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission reopened this week to long lines with hundreds, sometimes thousands, of people. Lining up in the early hours of the morning, residents scrambled to get licenses renewed and registrations updated after the agency was shut down for four months because of the pandemic. The administration quickly announced a slew of changes to help ease the wait time and stress on everyone involved.
