Former Gov. Kean calls for bipartisan investigation into COVID-19 response

Questions about the state’s preparedness for the coronavirus pandemic are intensifying now that infection rates are slowing and as reports detail a Department of Health that was overwhelmed and understaffed.

Former Gov. Tom Kean says he’d like to see an investigation similar to the probe by the 9/11 commission he chaired after the 2001 terrorist attacks. It’s become a textbook example in bipartisan post-mortem reports. He spoke with Chief Political Correspondent Michael Aron and said he’s be willing to lead the charge.
