FoodBank CEO discusses impact of SNAP cuts in New Jersey

The Trump administration’s federal food assistance reforms will impact 700,000 people nationwide in 2020. The administration’s goal is to return the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, known as SNAP, to its intended purpose as temporary help in tough times. The initial cuts will impact thousands of New Jersey residents between the ages of 18 to 49 who have no dependents.
