The fight over emergency unemployment benefits continues in Washington. Federal lawmakers are at odds over how much to include in the next coronavirus relief package and whether to extend the $600 weekly unemployment benefit for millions of residents. House members already voted on their version of the bill. It’s $2 trillion more than the GOP-led Senate is looking to pass, and it appears they’ve hit a wall in negotiations.
