Top 3 Issues: We have increased access to the senior property tax freeze and it will allow older residents to retire in the state; we have protected access to healthcare for women and ensured affordable access to cancer screenings and prenatal care; our bill to double the income tax deduction for veterans was signed into law.
Free-time activity: “If I have four or five hours to pass, I like to play golf. But it’s very difficult to find time. I also like to go out to dinner with my wife and spend time with my children. I have a 25-year-old and a 27-year-old, and we all have our own lives to live, but when we get together, it’s nice to have family time.”

My name is Vince Mazzeo and I’m running for re-election to the New Jersey State Assembly. I am a lifelong resident of Atlantic County and I’ve helped lead BF Mazzeo’s, - my family’s fruit and produce business - for the last 35 years. This experience and this investment into my community is why I will always have Atlantic County’s back in Trenton.
When New Jersey Transit shut down our rail services in South Jersey I stood up to the Governor and fought to have it restored. I was first elected right as we saw casino closures all over the city, massive layoffs, and a heartbreaking number of foreclosures across the county. Since then, I have worked to restore the gaming industry but also to diversify Atlantic County’s economy and ensure that our fortunes are not tied exclusively to the casinos. Our efforts in the legislature have led to more opportunities around the Atlantic City Airport and a major wind energy company opened a headquarters in Atlantic City. I recently worked on legislation with my running mate, John Armato, to help families stay in their homes and to combat blight in our neighborhoods. These new laws have also expedited the sales process for abandoned and vacant homes and will help increase property value in neighborhoods across our region. More South Jersey homeowners now have the opportunity to enter into mediation before beginning the foreclosure process, which will help struggling families get back on their feet.
The bottom line is that my job is to represent Atlantic County in the General Assembly. And it is my mission to address our affordability crisis for working families, seniors and to continue supporting our veterans. I am honored to have been given the chance to stand up for Atlantic County families and I am running for re-election because I want to continue to be your voice. I would appreciate your vote on November 5th. Thank you.
