Editor in Chief Lee Keough is in charge of assigning articles to staff writers and freelancers. She is interested in developing new editorial talent and expanding our pool of writers.
Please contact her with pitches before submitting a full-length article.
NJ Spotlight typically works with a stable of regular columnists who write on topics that match our editorial charter, such as education, healthcare, energy, environmental issues, and state politics and policy. If you are interested in joining our staff of columnists contact Lee Keough or John Mooney.
NJ Spotlight is always interested in reviewing op-ed submissions for possible publication. In fact, several of our regular columnists started out this way.
We welcome submissions from across the entire political spectrum and are just as interested in seeing work from private individuals as from policymakers. Please send submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact Lee Keough or John Mooney.
Interns and other contributors
