Election 2021: Legislative District 14

The 14th District covers nine communities in Mercer and Middlesex counties: Cranbury, East Windsor, Hamilton, Hightstown, Jamesburg, Monroe, Plainsboro, Robbinsville and Spotswood. 

About four in 10 registered voters are unaffiliated, but of those who have chosen a party, 38% are Democrats and 21% are Republicans. 

Democratic Sen. Linda Greenstein, an attorney from Plainsboro, faces a challenge from Republican business owner Adam Elias of Monroe.

Both Assemblymen, Hamilton Twp. Democrats, are seeking re-election: Wayne DeAngelo, a union leader, and Daniel Benson, a consultant. Their Republican opponents are Andrew Pachuta, a Hamilton businessman who lost a congressional bid as an independent last year, and Bina Shah a Hightstown real estate agent who lost an Assembly bid two years ago. is also on the Assembly ballot. Michael Bollentin of Hightstown is running as an independent under the slogan For the People.
