Plus: NJ’s budget surplus and recognizing Juneteenth

NJ Spotlight News Correspondent Joanna Gagis is guest host of Chat Box this week. She discusses what’s being done to change the culture for women in state politics with Julie Roginsky and Sabeen Masih, members of the Workgroup on Harassment, Sexual Assault and Misogyny in New Jersey Politics led by Sen. Loretta Weinberg.

Larry Hamm from the People’s Organization for Progress talks about why it’s important to recognize and commemorate Juneteenth.

Finally, Richard Keevey, former State Budget Director and Comptroller — and Executive in Residence at Bloustein School of Planning and Policy at Rutgers University — discusses New Jersey’s budget surplus and where the money should be allocated.

Watch Chat Box live on NJ Spotlight News and the NJ Spotlight News YouTube channel Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., and on NJ PBS Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. and Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
