Electionland: How you can help track NJ voting problems

NJ Spotlight News readers, voters, election workers and officials can report problems with voting in the general election

As part of our continuing cover of this year’s elections, NJ Spotlight News is partnering with ProPublica, a nonprofit newsroom focused on investigative journalism, on its Electionland project examining problems related to voting throughout the country this year.

A collaboration among newsrooms across the nation, Electionland is reporting on issues involving voter registration, the shift to vote-by-mail, cybersecurity, voter education and misinformation, among others. ProPublica has created a tipline where NJ Spotlight News readers, voters, election workers and officials can report problems with New Jersey’s general election, conducted primarily using mail-in ballots.
