New funding for COVID-19 relief programs for NJ neighborhoods, small businesses

The state Department of Community Affairs has announced $7.5 million in funding for three programs to help neighborhoods and vulnerable small businesses financially impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. The money is coming from the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Funding will go to the Neighborhood Preservation Program ($3.1 million), the Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit Program ($2.6 million), and the Main Street New Jersey Program ($1.6 million).
