Hamm says he would fight for reforms that would help working people, poor people and the middle class in New Jersey

One social justice advocate has been getting a lot of recognition for successfully hosting recent peaceful protests in Newark. Larry Hamm has been fighting in the city for more than four decades against police brutality, racial profiling and inequality. Now, he’s running against U.S. Sen. Cory Booker in the July 7 Democratic primary. It’s a race he calls the “David and Goliath scenario.”
