Price drop in cents per gallon for gasoline in NJ over past month

If you fill up your car with gas today in New Jersey, you’ll pay an average of $2.20 per gallon, 29 cents cheaper than a month ago and 49 cents cheaper than March 30, 2019, according to AAA Northeast. That’s welcome news, of course, but it wasn’t that long ago that New Jersey’s price at the pump was the envy of the tristate area and beyond. Even with a savings of about 50 cents per gallon, New Jersey’s typical gas price is 19 cents higher than the national average.
