The 12th District includes Princeton, Trenton, and other Mercer municipalities, as well as parts of Middlesex, Somerset, and Union counties.

There are just two candidates on the ballot: Democratic incumbent Bonnie Watson Coleman, in her second term, and Republican Daryl Kipnis of Somerset.
