New Jersey is known for a lot of things, its ethnic diversity included. Moreover, it’s home to the most ethnically diverse city in the nation: Jersey City. That’s according to WalletHub, the personal-finance website, which has just released a report analyzing more than 500 cities in the United States for their ethnoracial diversity, linguistic diversity, and birthplace diversity. After Jersey City, the top five is rounded out by three cities in Maryland — Gaithersburg, Germantown, and Silver Spring — along with Spring Valley, NV. New York City comes in at number six. According to WalletHub, the five least ethnically diverse cities are Barre, VT; Watertown, SD; Hialeah, FL; Clarksburg, WV; and Parkersburg, WV.
