holiday reading for governorThis year, while we take our annual holiday break, we thought we’d offer readers something a little different. With an eye to a new administration, many of the state’s experts have been writing reports and offering solutions to the New Jersey’s most difficult problems. We at NJ Spotlight selected what we think are the most provocative, interesting and important papers and are highlighting them with the hope that every New Jerseyan interested in public policy reads them. That includes the governor-elect and his staff, for whom most of these papers were written. I think you’ll find that although our state’s problems are serious, they are fixable with the right blend of political courage, ingenuity, and time.
We’ll be back with our usual mix of information and analysis January 2. In the meantime, I hope you have a merry holiday week.
