Elections 2016: 11th Congressional District

New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District is a historically Republican area that contains portions of Essex, Morris, Passaic, and Sussex counties. Both major party nominees had to win contested primaries this year. Eleven-term incumbent Republican Rep. Rodney P. Frelinghuysen of Harding is facing Democrat Joseph Wenzel of West Orange. Thomas DePasquale of Totowa and Libertarian Jeff Hetrick of Chatham are also on the ballot.
