special edition red
A 2013 recipient of a MacArthur “genius grant,” Dr. Jeffrey Brenner is medical director of Cooper Health System’s Urban Health Institute and the executive director of the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers.

Brenner has attracted national attention for spearheading the so-called hot-spotting approach to healthcare delivery, providing targeted services to specific communities based on their healthcare needs, and for the Camden coalition’s ACO initiative, which focuses on communication and coordination among healthcare providers. The goal: lower costs and improve the quality of care by offering incentives for eliminating redundancies and streamlining medical services.

Brenner originally delivered this talk at an NJ Spotlight Roundtable.
