Crumbling infrastructure poses threat to state’s entire economy, says Rutgers researcher professor

New Jersey urgently needs to invest in repairs and improvements to its aging water infrastructure, warns Rutgers research professor Dr. Daniel Van Abs, NJ Spotlight’s newest columnist, in an interview with NJTV.

Responding to those who point out that New Jersey already has one of highest costs of living in the nation, and that residents can’t afford higher water rates, Van Abs notes that the economic impact to would be far more devastating if the public-water infrastructure collapsed.
