Christie Dismisses Link Between Climate Change, Hurricane Sandy

Dismisses connection -- embraced by NY governor and federal government -- as theory concocted by liberal media

Climate change? What climate change?

Governor Chris Christie doesn’t think NJ Transit came up short in planning for extreme weather caused by climate change. He rejects the notion that Hurricane Sandy was linked to climate change.

And he thinks the suggestion that there might be a link between climate change and the devastating superstorm is something cooked up by the liberal media — specifically, WYNC/New Jersey Public Radio (partners of NJ Spotlight), which reports on Christie’s comments during an appearance yesterday to mark the completion and reopening of the rebuilt boardwalk in Lavallette, NJ.
