More than six months after Sandy devastated the region, public television stations across the New Jersey and New York area this evening will air “Superstorm Sandy: A Live Town Hall.”
NJ Spotlight, a partner on this project, will be live-streaming the broadcast starting at 8:00 p.m. You can follow our live-tweets on Twitter at @NJSpotlight. The hashtag for the evening is #SandyTownHall.
The event will feature experts answering questions before live studio audiences at Monmouth University’s Pollak Theatre and the Tisch WNET Studios at Lincoln Center in Manhattan. Mike Schneider, managing editor of the NJTV news program NJ Today with Mike Schneider, will host the broadcast.
The discussion will cover a wide range of topics, including, infrastructure and building codes, as well as Sandy’s economic implications and environmental impact.
More information, including how you can be part of the live studio audience, is available online.
