They came from all across the Garden State, the mayors who shared the stage with Gov. Chris Christie and Senate President Stephen Sweeney (D-Gloucester) at yesterday’s signing of the contentious pension and healthcare overhaul bill. They were all Democrats, and all there by invitation. But rather than simply accept similarities, NJ Spotlight spoke to a trio of mayors to let them give voice to the specific reasons that had brought them to the Trenton War Memorial.
