If you noticed lots of motorists being ticketed along the highways this past weekend, it’s no accident. New Jersey was ranked 10th in the country by the National Motorists Association as most likely to ticket drivers for speeding. The association derived the data by analyzing the frequency of Google search terms such as “speeding tickets” and “traffic tickets.” Florida was ranked first in this report, followed by Georgia, Nevada and Texas. New Jersey ranked ahead of California, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Connecticut. What should come as no surprise is that the wide open spaces of Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota and North Dakota were ranked at the bottom of this list.
