The 33rd District in Hudson County encompasses Hoboken, Union City, Weehawken, and part of Jersey City.
Among the most Democratic districts in the state, nearly 56 percent of registered voters in it identify themselves as Democrats. About 10 percent are Republicans, and most others have no party affiliation.
All Democratic incumbents are seeking re-election: Sen. Brian P. Stack of Union City, and Assembly members Raj Mukherji, an attorney and former deputy mayor of Jersey City, and Annette Chaparro of Hoboken.
The Republican ticket features Beth Hamburger of Hoboken for Senate and Holly Lucyk of Hoboken for Assembly.
