At Day-Long Conference, NJ Spotlight Shines Spotlight on State’s Cities

The second annual NJ Spotlight on Cities conference brought together politicians, policymakers, urban architects and advocates

Elizabeth Mayor Christian Bollwage talked about dealing with surprises — a bomb found at his city’s train station in the middle of the night — and told how emergency workers walked the tracks so trains could start running again.

Baraka in a discussion with Kean called for an Urban Marshall Plan like the one that rebuilt Europe after World War II.
