Verizon Strike Scheduled for 6 A.M. Wednesday Morning
After working without a contract for the past eight months, a group of Verizon employees are ready to walk off the job
Some 36,000 Verizon workers are poised to walk off the job today at 6:00 a.m. They include the customer-service workers, installers, and repairmen in the company’s old landline divisions who have been without a contract for eight months.
The employees are represented by the Communication Workers of America. Its legislative and political director Seth Hahn discussed the strike and its background with NJTV News Anchor Mary Alice Williams.
