New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie joined a bevy of GOP candidates on stage for a forum held Monday in New Hampshire. And it was announced yesterday that he had made the cut as one of 10 Republican hopefuls selected to participate in tomorrow night’s Fox News-sponsored debate.
But his candidacy is having trouble getting traction. Some political observers said Christie faces a number of obstacles, including a crowded field where it’s hard to stand out from the crowd; Donald Trump, who has so far out-blustered New Jersey’s in-your-face governor; and the entry of another straight-talking sitting governor, John Kasich, from the important swing state of Ohio.
