Christie Brother’s Link to Accounting Firm Raises Ethics Questions
But expert on conflicts of interest says connection isn’t necessarily a problem, unless ‘quid pro quo’ is established

Just because a firm that employs Gov. Chris Christie’s brother was awarded a $250,000 contract to conduct an analysis of Atlantic City’s finance, it doesn’t automatically mean that there’s an ethics problem, unless a “quid pro quo” link is established.
That’s the view of a Rutgers University School of Business professor – although he says people have a right to question possible conflicts of interest, adding that it would have been much better if Christie had revealed the connection to his brother Todd, who works for Ernst & Young, which has received three state contracts since Todd Christie starting working for the firm two years ago.
