School funding is almost always a powder-keg issue in New Jersey, and this year it may be primed for a larger explosion. NJ Spotlight education writer, John Mooney, interviewed by NJTV's Mike Schneider, discusses Gov. Chris Christie's decision to toss out the school-funding formula and instead award every district in the state $20 per student, not enough to offset any of the cost increases schools are facing.
