Weather junkies should take a look at the Hurricane Sandy page that’s been compiled by the Office of the New Jersey State Climatologist at Rutgers University, which is keeping track of weather conditions at 51 stations around the state. The site is reporting on wind gusts, precipitation, barometric pressure, and temperature and is highlighting all extreme conditions.
The office has also assembled an extensive compilation of historical and educational information about hurricanes, which can be found on the 2012 hurricane page.
